What we collect, what we don't

Last updated 18 May 2026

Aulino is a developmental ritual for children, designed by parents who wanted it to exist. This privacy notice covers our pre-launch waitlist site. The Aulino product itself — the plush, the conversations, the parent app — will be governed by a separate, more detailed policy at launch.

1 · Who runs this site

Aulino, Inc. — see the Impressum for the full legal disclosure.

2 · What we collect

When you reserve a spot on the waitlist, we collect:

  • Your email address. So we can confirm your spot and tell you when Aulino ships.
  • Your language preference (English or German). So we can write to you in the right one.
  • The source you came from (e.g. organic, Instagram, Substack). So we know which channels parents find us through.
  • The timestamp of your reservation. For our records.

That's it. No name. No address. No phone number. No child's data.

3 · Aggregate, non-personal analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and a small set of custom events (e.g. waitlist_view, waitlist_submit_success). It uses no cookies and no cross-site tracking. It does not see who you are. We use this to understand which sections of the site people read.

4 · Where your email goes

Your email is stored in two systems we pay for:

  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — the email service that sends you the waitlist letters. Stored in the US, subject to Kit's own privacy policy.
  • Notion — our internal record of waitlist reservations. Also US-based; subject to Notion's privacy policy.

We don't sell, rent, or share your email with anyone else. We don't run ads. We don't have a marketing partner who would receive your data.

5 · How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until twelve months after Aulino ships and you've chosen not to buy — whichever comes first.

6 · Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU/EEA/UK, you have the right to:

  • Ask us what we have about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete it all
  • Take it with you in a portable format
  • Object to anything you don't like about how we use it
  • Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority if we mishandle it

To do any of these, email anja@aulino.ai. We respond in days, not weeks.

7 · How to unsubscribe

Every waitlist letter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it removes you immediately — no questions, no exit survey.

8 · Children

This waitlist site is for parents. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has signed up, write to anja@aulino.ai and we'll delete the record.

9 · Changes to this notice

We'll change this text as Aulino grows. Material changes (e.g. when the product launches and we start collecting child data) will trigger a separate, more detailed policy and an explicit notice to everyone on the waitlist.
