The evidence

What happens when a child never learns to name what they feel?

Drawn from emotion-coaching research at the Gottman Institute, RULER (Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence), and the affect-labeling work at UCLA.

But it doesn’t have
to be your story.

What Aulino does

9 minutes change a lifetime.

Two short rituals — evening and morning.

The object

A button on the right paw

Press it once to begin. No screen, no app, no menu.

The interface

Voice, not screen

Your child speaks. Aulino names what they feel — never advice, never clinical.

The architecture

Not always listening

Aulino isn’t always listening. The microphone opens only when your child presses the paw — and closes when they’re done.

After dinner. Before sleep.

The parent note · every Sunday

The bridge between what your child feels — and what you can finally ask.

Aulino gives you the opening — never the script. A short Sunday letter: the themes your child has been carrying (left-out, proud, scared), and one specific question you can ask on the way to school.

  • Themes, never specifics
  • Questions, never scripts
  • Their words stay theirs

Children who can't name what they feel don't stop feeling. They stop telling you.

Your child is already growing up around conversational machines. The question is no longer whether — it's what kind of conversation they're practising.

A letter from the founders

We couldn't change our own childhoods. We could build what we wish had existed. Aulino is for the children who deserve to be heard sooner than we were.

Reserve a spot in this wave and you'll hear from us before anyone else.

Frequently asked

Questions parents actually ask.

  • What is Aulino?
Aulino is the daily 9-minute ritual that helps your child come to you, instead of going quiet. A voice-guided, screen-free emotional learning companion built on developmental psychology and co-developed with child psychologists. The first wave ships to 300 families in Q1 2027.
  • How does Aulino help with tantrums?
Aulino is not a tantrum-stopper. The 9-minute daily ritual works upstream — over weeks, it gives your child a vocabulary for what's happening inside them, so when the next big feeling arrives they have words for it. This is co-regulation, not crisis management.
  • What is emotional regulation in children?
Emotional regulation is the ability to notice what you're feeling, name it, and choose how to respond — instead of being taken over by the feeling. It's a developmental skill that grows from age three onward, and it is learnable. Aulino's daily ritual is one way to practice it.
  • What age is Aulino for?
Children ages 5 to 10. The voice and content adapt to developmental stage — a five-year-old hears different prompts than a nine-year-old.
  • Is Aulino safe for kids? How is it different from ChatGPT?
Aulino is not a general AI. It operates within a curated developmental framework, co-built with child psychologists. It cannot drift off-topic, cannot be jailbroken into adult conversation, and processes voice on-device. ChatGPT is built to answer anything. Aulino is built to listen to one specific kind of voice — a child trying to name a feeling.
  • Is my child's data private?
Yes. Voice processing happens on-device. Conversations are not uploaded to a server. The inner life of your child never leaves your house — that's the product, not a feature.
  • When does Aulino ship?
Q1 2027. The first wave is 300 families, by reservation. Subsequent waves follow once the first wave's promises are fully kept.
  • How much will Aulino cost? Do I pay today?
No payment today. Pricing is finalized before shipping; you'll see the full details and decide whether to proceed once the product is in your hands. Reserving a spot holds your place — nothing more.
